Technical Writer/Researcher:

You’ve spent all those years researching law and checking legal facts, you’ve edited and written contracts as well as legal copy. Added to that you’re used to ignoring personal tones and affections and writing based just on fact. Every skill you’ve mastered as a Paralegal can be used here.

Leadership and Event Management

Whether you like the idea of working for non-profits who are often in dire need of planning and organizational foresight or feel those organizational skills would be put to the test as an Event Planner for a large organization, you’ll find such positions looking for candidates with your experience and skill set.

Public Relations Associate:

You’re an excellent communicator; you’ve spent all those years interviewing clients, taking statements, contacting experts and acting on instructions, not to mention those copy writing skills we spoke about earlier. Bringing it all together and adding some sales oomph and this may be the role for you.

Detective/Detective Assistant:

Bring your inquisitive nature, that ability to spend hours researching and re-examining evidence and remember you don’t necessarily have to be on the streets bashing bad guys. If you’re happy to sit behind a desk somewhere then maybe this is where you can find yourself in your post-paralegal days.
