Overview
Responsibilities:
• Draft and file immigration petitions, visa applications, and labor certification applications.
• Support substantive legal division processes by performing key job functions such as drafting and/or reviewing legal documentation and correspondence with minimal attorney supervision.
• Prepare for and coordinate litigation proceedings, monitor litigation caseload, and assist with pre-trial discovery and trial preparation.
• Case management and file organization.
• Research and respond to inquiries and requests for information.
• Factual investigation and research.
• Communicate with government agencies, clients, and attorneys.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to independently follow up on legal issues and documentation
• Willingness to learn about complex processes and related documentation, and to analyze and review documents
• Ability and willingness to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally using verbal and written skills
• Position requires high degree of discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must exhibit strong leadership skills and good judgment
• Ability to operate effectively as a team member and as an individual contributor
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of three years work experience as an immigration paralegal.
• Proficiency using spreadsheets, word processing, and immigration software.
• A Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, Legal Studies or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired and/or Certification as a Paralegal
• Bilingual language skills a plus.
• Litigation experience beneficial.
