Overview
Burr & Forman LLP is seeking a full-time paralegal for its Atlanta, Georgia office in Mortgage Banking and Commercial Real Estate. The transactional paralegal will work closely with the supervising attorney on all aspects of large closing transactions, and is responsible for the assembly and verification of all documentation necessary to complete the transaction.
Full Job Description:
Candidates must be very familiar with the closing process, including the preparation of due diligence items, reviewing due diligence checklists and loan documents, research of UCC filings and corporate documents, preparation of loan packages for clients and loan document transcripts for all parties, completing general post-closing items, and overall support to the Banking/Real Estate practice group.
All applicants must have a four-year degree and an ABA approved paralegal certificate. Ideal candidates will have at least five years banking experience. Resumes without GPA will not be considered.
